Exxxotica Edison 2022 Show Recap

    Exxxotica Edison 2022 was a wild experience. I've been going to Exxxotica in Edison since 2009 and it's amazing to see how much it's grow since then. Back when I first started the likes of Chaturbate and MyFreeCams weren't even at the shows and this year also featured the return of Cam4. I love seeing the growth of independent performers less reliant on studios and more creator driven. Anyway, on to the show.

     The struggle between someone only attending one day and that day being either a Friday or Saturday is real and this year was no exception. I'm there the entire weekend but for some they choose Friday because it starts the latest in the day, ends the latest and is ladies free so you never know who will casually be walking around or Saturday. Most of my friends attended Saturday with it's 8-9 hour day and large crowds. The difference this year was the majority of the crowds attended on Friday which I can't say I've ever seen happen before. The wait to see performers like Angela White and Violet Myers was 3 hours long sometimes and the line never got any shorter. Friday may be the new busiest day as some seem to want to come for the opening and go on and do other things with the rest of their weekend. Maybe times are changing.

   

     What I love about Exxxotica as compared to a lot of other adult trade shows is it's the most inclusive of the bunch. If you've been to some of the other ones you know it doesn't always scream diversity. I've spoken to several performers who don't fit the typical mold who feel left out and that's why Exxxotica is so refreshing to attend. Whatever kind of perfomer you're into will most likely be represented at this show. It's also great to see huge studios like Brazzers and the Bad Dragon company at the show as well as studios that have risen in the last few years at trade shows like Freak Mob Media and Gold Dimes. Edison also featured many performers with their own booth branching out to meet fans on their own. Gotta love the beauty of independence.

    Sunday as always was a slower day and for myself it's a great work day. Since so many people attend the first 2 days, Sunday is a lighter crowd and theirs more time to speak with performers and take photos, shop, etc. Overall the show was a blast as always although I did hear about some nasty issues on Saturday night at the after party with people getting sick from consuming spiked gummies. I myself didn't attend the party after seeing the line to get inside but I certainly heard about what happened days later on Twitter. It's an unfortunate dark cloud on an otherwise great weekend. I'll be attending the last Exxxotica of the year in DC, actually Virginia but who's paying attention, which is the second time to this location and I'm interested on seeing how it turns out. For now though and as usual Jersey is king and here's to another year.
