Zaena and Jason Maek shares with their fans a double feature for your viewing pleasure. The duo continues to release new music at a rapid pace as they have released a new song every 1st and 15th of the month since February. Their new video, "Chillin'" is a rap/jazz inflused singles discusses one’s desire to upgrade their standard of living. It transitions from modern day to Motown as we moved through a surreal timelapsing living room.
Their second visual ‘Overtime’ questions the balance of chasing your dreams vs. paying the bills. The song uses a lot of live instruments and choirs Zaena states, “Overtime hits home for a lot of people. It speaks on the every day existence of so many people. There is this battle between chasing your dreams and, ya know, paying bills that is real. As dreamers, we all have to balance that along with societal pressures to fit into the status quo.”
