K-Hill The Geechi Is Over (Prod by Rashid Hadee)

The South has something to say!!! North Carolina's own K-Hill calls out the buffonery that is happening in entertainment with "The Geechi Is Over."  Produced by Rashid Hadee.  K-Hill explains the concept behind the song below: "The Geechi Is Over was inspired by the 1984 movie, "A Soldier's Story".In the movie the Sargent referred to all southern's as "geechees" in an effort to be little black soldiers from the south. There was a time in hip hop where southern artist were overlooked and downplayed simply because of their southern roots/origins. The Geechi Is Over celebrates the blessing of being a southern native as well as a southern emcee in the music industry"
