In 2016, Chicago has witnessed more murders than Los Angeles and New York combined. CNN host and comedian Kamau Bell visits his hometown of Chicago, Illinois to discuss gang violence and explore solutions on his CNN special, "United Shades of America." Kamau joined G.O.O.D music recording artist Malik Yusef as he bought together Chicago's most influential artists including Roc Nation's Vic Mensa, Lil Durk, The legendary Fya Man,
Wild Wild Da General, G Syl, and others. The group discussed the reasons the violence is happen - and solutions to change things. Vic Mensa believes "Solutions have to come down to investing in the community." The group ended with a prayer, with Chicago rappers of past and present joining hands in unity. Watch the clip below.
