The 24 Hours Of Peace returns for its fifth annual celebration of peace. It is a outdoor cultural event which was conceived by Newark, New Jersey Mayor Ras Baraka in 2010. 24 Hours Of Peace is aimed at addressing violence through performing arts that brings together community members with the socially conscious arts community. Artists who will be performing at this year's festivities will be Hakim Green (Channel Live), Rakim, Do-It All, Beatminerz Radio feat DJ Evil Dee, The Juice Crew All Stars, Das Efx, and more. The 24 Hours Of Peace will be held on Clinton Avenue (between Osbourne & Bergen) Friday, August 28 at 6pm til August 29 6pm.
