Erick Sermon: Today's Rappers Are Too Sensitive

Erick Sermon tells Vlad TV the story of how EPMD and Rakim had beef back in the day. The green eyed bandit explained how the beef got started when Rakim rapped about how EPMD could "get a smack for this" on the I Ain't No Joke single. EPMD fired back at Ra with their record titled "You're A Customer". Even though the beef remained on wax, Sermon admits it was getting out of hand. Fortunately, both parties decided to squash it in the early 90s.

Erick also talks about how today's rappers are too sensitive.  He believes some of the new artists resort to violence and insulting each other on YouTube due to the reason that they don't have any lyrical skills to retaliate.
