Big Daddy Kane Talks Giving Jay Z His Big Break

The James Brown Of Hip Hop Big Daddy Kane sits down with Vlad TV on how he first was introduced to Jay-Z. The Brooklyn legend explains that Jaz-O asked if Jay-Z can get on a track with them. Kane agreed and took Jay-Z on the road with him, even though Jay was never his hypeman, he would have Jay rhyme on stage for about 10 minutes while he would change his clothes backstage. 

Till this day Kane and Jay-Z have a great relationship, with Hov bringing Kane on stage for Summer Jam and for the opening of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
