I had the opportunity to finally meet with Dominican bombshell Neny Barbie in Philadelphia at Candelas. This young lady is making some serious moves in the Dominican hosting events and modeling for different magazines from WorldLatinStar to DymeLife. Neny is ready to take the world by storm as we discuss her inspiration on becoming a model, working with Latin hip hop group Lapiz Conciente, and women with the sad vagina.
Sincere: Tell me a little about yourself and what part of the Dominican Republic you are from?
Neny: I'm from Santiago, the north part of the Dominican Republic.
Sincere: If I am not mistaken, you were living in New York before moving to Philly. What made you decide to move to the city of Brotherly Love?
Neny: Well I have some major things in the works coming in Philly and with the support I have with my friends here many big things are coming.
Sincere: What inspired you to become a model?
Neny: To be honest since I was a little girl, it was always something I enjoyed and love.
Sincere: You have done some modeling work for a few magazines and have posted your own sexy photos on Instagram. The men are complimenting your exotic beauty and curves. How does it feel to receive all this attention?
Neny: To be honest while I have sexy photos, it is kind of a turn off when men make disgusting comments.
Sincere: In order to keep your body in shape. What does your exercise regimen consist of?
Neny: To be honest and confess, I must admit I do not exercise often as I should lol.
Sincere: On your instagram, you put Vagina Triste. Can you explain to our audience why do you use the term “sad vagina”? (Laughs)
Neny: I think that when a woman has a bad sense of humor, she must have a sad vagina or must lack in sexual activity.
Sincere: You were featured in Lapiz Conciente video “Por Mujeres Como Tu” ft ShadowBlow. What was it like working with Lapiz Conciente and where was the visuals recorded?
Neny: Working with them is great and they have excellent team work which is key in this industry. From Lapiz to the director, the make up artist and manager, they are some very good human beings.
Sincere: Are there any upcoming events you will be hosting in the near future?
Neny: Yes I have plenty of things in the works, coming in Philly too, you will be updated with events very soon.
Sincere: Being a model, you get a lot of attention from men who want to date you. What qualities do you look for in a man?
Neny: Many men see that Neny is sexy and in reality, I'm not a women that is materialistic and I'm one of respect and it is difficult to find that in this industry today.
Sincere: Name one thing a guy can do that can really turn you off?
Neny: Simple, one that has a total lack of respect for women.
Sincere: I am pretty sure you have received a lot of crazy requests from people on social media. What was the craziest or creepiest thing someone has said to you online?
Neny: Everything they say, things like they'll leave their wife if I give them a chance to be with me.
Sincere: Where do you see yourself in five years?
Neny: Just to be far removed from show business with my kids.
Sincere: What advice would you give a young woman who wants to become a aspiring model?
Neny: My advice is to always build and look for other things to do because modeling is temporary for many. You can't bank on it for ever.
Sincere: Truthfully, I enjoy eating a few of my favorite dishes. What is your favorite dish that you love to eat?
Neny: I eat everything lol, and whatever comes from the hands of my mom, she is the best chef.
Sincere: If you had the opportunity to change one huge problem (homelessness, hunger, disease) in the world today. What would it be?
Neny: Support the cure for cancer and make it more accessible for the poor. It something that needs to be done and I love to be a part of it.
Sincere: Thank you for taking the time to conduct this interview with me. Do you have any final shout outs and how can fans stay in contact with you?
Neny: Thank you so much for taking time to interview me and follow me on Instagram @nenybarbie
