Gillie Da Kid has had a long time presence in the Philadelphia hip-hop scene. First, as a member of the group Major Figgas, Gillie has always come with the hard hitting rhymes that you would expect out of an artist representing Philly. As he gets ready to release his 1st album, entitled "Welcome 2 Gilladelphia" on October the 23rd, I spoke to Gillie for a phone interview about Philly hip-hop, his new album, his past group Major Figgas, and a host of other things.
